There will be a period of about eight difficult days per month from January to June 2012. Many of us will tend to feel very irritable and blocked and stirred up. Our minds could feel fraught or troubled.
This will particularly be the case if we have planets in the western astrology signs Virgo, Libra, Scorpio and Sagittarius. These are the Vedic Astrology signs of Leo, Virgo, Libra and Sagittarius.
The reason for this is that there is a chain of three malefics occupying these signs until June (at least). Mars is at 22 western Virgo; Saturn is at 29 western Libra and the North Node of the Moon (Rahu) is in western Sagittarius.
Each of these three malefics will disturb the Moon as it passes through the malefic-occupied signs. The Moon is our consciousness and state of mind (among other things). Hence full moon lunatics and huge tides in the ocean. Mars will bring aggression to our minds or irritation. Saturn will bring pessimism, restriction and separation and hard learning. The North Node (Rahu) will bring psychic turbulence and torsions and driven ambitions/obsessions.

Of course there is ‘divine learning’ in all these challenges, as in everything, if we can find it. The good meaning to be found is (a) to learn to channel our aggressions into useful directed energy; (b) to learn to cope with restrictions with perseverance and steady patience, and (c) to learn not to get sucked into negativity, dark stuff or obsession. Easier said than done! But it’s helpful; to be warned so we can understand the challenge better.
